a little bit about the founder

A Technology Professional for more than 25 years, working predominantly in the Financial Services industry throughout Europe and the United States. Being at the birth of Windows & Windows NT, I experienced the enormous growth of Microsoft and their Windows platform scaling to support thousands of corporate users across the globe. Since the inception of macOS and the first iPod, I've been a part of a similar, yet different, story for Apple as it grew to be in the hands of millions of consumers around the world.
Being immersed the world of Apple has enabled me to be a part of the transformation from the minority niche user base to today when their design simplicity, clean aesthetics and reliability have facilitated an incredible growth reaching a globally diverse cross section of businesses and people from all walks of life.
While this is a great story for Apple and the consumer, behind the beautiful and intuitive user interface of every device, from the revolutionary yet humble iPod to the professional MacPro workstation, lays complex hardware and equally complex software. They are designed to work extremely well together and, for the most part, they do but what happens when they don't? What happens when you want to change, add or upgrade something? I found that many people wanted more in-depth help than could be found locally or offered by that special 'friend of a friend who know's Mac's' so my journey started with a simple goal: To 'Make Things Better' with simplicity at the core of everything I do.
For the last 20 years I have been working for global financial institutions as an Infrastructure Design Engineer and Technical Project Manager, moving from London to settle in New York in 2004. Alongside this work I have been helping family, friends, friends of friends, small businesses and startups finding solutions to their technological needs which, in turn, led to the start of 'MFC'.
